Position Summary

As a GIS Design Technician within our Telecom division, you will support our engineers by utilizing ESRI's software suite, including 3GIS and Netdesigner, to conduct design tasks and spatial analyses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating construction plan sets
  • Conducting data collection activities
  • Modeling telecommunication networks

Your expertise as a data analyst with Esri software (ArcGIS Desktop & Pro), along with your programming skills in Python and SQL server management, will be essential. You will analyze and manipulate data, conduct thorough analyses, and produce compelling visualizations to support telecommunication planning and design initiatives. The ability to accurately define problems and select appropriate datasets for solutions will be crucial.

Fieldwork may be required, involving travel to various job sites across diverse terrains and weather conditions.
