  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in case conferences, meetings, and performance activities as assigned, fostering effective communication and teamwork within the healthcare team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all State and Regulatory acts, upholding the highest standards of patient care and professional conduct.
  • Professional Conduct: Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, adhering to the principles of respect, empathy, and compassion.
  • Timely Patient Visits: Visit patients within the assigned timeframe, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
  • Reporting and Medication Administration: Report any unusual or abnormal findings to the RN Case Manager and administer medications as ordered, documenting therapeutic effects.
  • Vital Signs and Wound Care: Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration) and provide wound care per MD order, maintaining a high level of patient comfort and safety.
  • Scope of Practice: Perform duties as a Licensed Practical Nurse as per Scope of Practice and Florida Law, upholding the highest standards of patient care and professional conduct.
Qualifications
  • Education and Licensure: Must be a graduate of any approved school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of Florida.
  • Experience: Must have one-year current experience in an accredited hospital or accredited nursing home within 1-2 years prior to employment.
Additional Responsibilities

Duties may include wound care, wound VAC, IV infusion (if certified), diabetic care, and colostomy care. Competency in these areas is required prior to employment.
