Telehealth LPN

Job Summary

As a Telehealth Licensed Practical Nurse with Care Resource, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care through remote consultations. This position requires a licensed practical nurse with a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care through remote consultations, adhering to provider orders and scope of practice.
Perform pre-visit planning and intake on patients with diverse problems and medical histories.
Administer nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
Chart and apply accurate charges for all procedures/tests.
Support the Medical Department by improving quality-of-care delivery, reducing costs per visit, and enhancing the patient experience.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required. BLS-Basic Life Saving for Healthcare Workers, Biomedical Waste, OSHA certifications are required. ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Saving certification is preferred.
Bilingual (English Spanish or English-Haitian Creole) is preferred. Ability to problem-solve and pay attention to detail. Excellent communication skills - oral and written. Computer knowledge (i.e. Microsoft, Electronic Health Records). Organizational, multitasking, and teamwork skills are required. Ability to work with multicultural and diverse populations.

Work Environment

This role requires working in an office and laboratory setting. The position involves constant talking in person, talking on the phone, hearing/visual acuity, and exposure to blood-borne pathogens and hazardous materials. Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and bending are also required.
