Position Summary:

Two Six Technologies is on the lookout for driven and passionate Web Developers. This role presents an exciting opportunity for those who are enthusiastic about web technologies and are keen to enhance their expertise within a collaborative and nurturing setting. As a Web Developer, you will collaborate closely with our development team to design, implement, and uphold high-quality web applications, contributing significantly to the success of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of web applications and digital platforms.
  • Develop and maintain scalable solutions utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript/Java frameworks and cloud technologies.
  • Leverage cloud services for processing and integration, ensuring peak performance and dependability.
  • Create custom MS365 web add-ins to enhance functionality and improve user engagement within our platform.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and execute robust web applications and add-ins.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to guarantee the quality and reliability of web applications.
  • Engage in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
  • Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Stay informed about the latest web technologies and trends, sharing insights with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong grasp of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with at least one web development framework or library such as React or Angular.
  • Solid understanding of various cloud platforms and technologies, including AWS and Azure.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript/Java development, with familiarity in modern reactive frameworks such as VueJS or ReactJS.
  • Experience in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Basic understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with server-side programming languages such as Python or PHP.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools and preprocessors such as Webpack, Babel, or Sass.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies such as Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
