Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Viant Medical. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality raw materials, components, and production supplies to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery terms, and other contractual agreements.
  • Manage and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the procurement process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the procurement process.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Strong ERP experience, preferably QAD.
