Job Summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Mechanic to join our team. As an Electrical Controls Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical duties, including diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to production operations and electromechanical systems, including diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits and equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, vacuum pumps, and electronic machine controls/controllers.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research on parts, equipment, and solutions to assist maintenance staff in resolving technical issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of technical activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and technical activities.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of hand tools and test equipment, including Digital Volt Meters.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite on PC platform, and experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits and equipment.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and possess a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
