Technical Operations Support Specialist

The IT Specialist will provide technical support and maintenance for our broadcast systems, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a highly organized and capable individual who can monitor and respond to high volumes of various forms of electronic communication.

Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for users at WABC-TV, including troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues.
- Maintain knowledge of Virtual Desktop systems and technologies in use by WABC-TV.
- Collaborate with the technology team at WABC-TV and beyond to resolve longer-term challenges that cannot be immediately resolved.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Active Directory, Apple and Microsoft desktop/server environments, TCP/IP and Cisco Networking, and Server Virtualization (VMWare) and SAN infrastructure.
- Ability to communicate across the organization at all levels, including operational staff and senior leadership.
