Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to join our team at ESA Management, LLC. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
  • Handle collection efforts of all in-house balances and account for all cash, check, credit card, and city ledger accounts through the property management system.
  • Set up, maintain, and takedown of the breakfast area when required, and maintain an organized and clean work area behind the front desk, in the lobby, and guest commons in compliance with company standards.
  • Sell the value of ESA to all inquiries, striving to convert them into reservations and occupied rooms in compliance with company standards.
  • Collect relevant guest information, probe for potential sales leads, and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Conduct periodic tours of the property to ensure it meets brand standards.
  • Assist and provide reasonable accommodations in response to guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates, and outside vendors.
  • Must be able to operate the property management system technology and work through all shift reports and perform the audit function when necessary and assigned.
  • Ability to understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply good judgment at all times.
  • Ability to deal with problems, address, and solve guest-related issues.
Work Environment

The Guest Services Representative position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. The associate will be required to remain stationary, navigate the hotel and parking lot, reach and handle, detect objects and controls, and detect sounds. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, pushing and/or pulling carts and equipment up to 50 pounds, and working in outside weather conditions may be required.
