We're seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Policy SME Systems Engineer with demonstrated advanced working knowledge of the United States Intelligence Community, its authorities, functions, responsibility, and mission to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support regarding compliance with applicable national security laws, executive orders, policies, and guidelines.
  • Provide policy expertise related to restricted SIGINT data handling, including foreign groundstation rules.
  • Help define policy rules and translate policies.
  • Support analysis of alternatives around tool selection.
  • Engage in up-front systems engineering activities.
  • Participate in Agile rhythms, including Agile planning and demonstrations.
  • Support acceptance of completed development and test activities.
  • Define data elements needed from external systems.
  • Develop test approaches that validate the system is behaving in line with policy expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with various levels of testing (requirements verification, feature testing, and/or unit testing).
  • Experience with interface definition and documentation.
  • Experience with CONOPS development.
  • Experience working on an Agile scrum team.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Experience with DevSecOps.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant domain.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise with the Compliance and Data Protection Plan (C&DPP) process and related training strongly desired.
Security Clearance Requirements:

An active and current TS/SCI w/ poly is required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
