Overnight Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Overnight Production Specialist to join our team at Sika. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging lines to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Tend manual or semi-automatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products, such as sealants, adhesives, primers, and intermediates.
- Material Handling: Load specified amounts of solid and liquid materials into heating/cooling vessels or blending tanks, and turn valves to feed liquid and solid materials through equipment units.
- Quality Control: Monitor gauges, signals, and recorders, and receive notification from quality control laboratory, supervisor, or other workers to make specified operating adjustments.
- Sampling and Packaging: Draw samples of products for quality control analysis, and package, palletize, shrink-wrap, and stage Sika product into a staging area or directly onto a truck for transportation to external warehouses.
- Maintenance and Housekeeping: Perform minor maintenance of equipment, workstations, and manufacturing areas, and maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Education and Experience: High School graduate, trade school certification in electronics or related field a plus.
- Communication and Technical Skills: Able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English, and able to understand, analyze, and resolve technical problems in work area.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 74 lbs repeatedly throughout work shift, and able to operate a forklift.
- Additional Requirements: Must be able to work shift schedule where opening exists, and pass a Sika proficiency test which will test both reading comprehension and math ability.
