Quality Assurance Specialist

David Yurman is a renowned American jewelry company seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production process. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in conducting initial production approval processes, evaluating merchandise, and communicating evaluation results.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming components and finished goods.
- Perform XRF analysis on incoming components and finished goods.
- Conduct regular finished goods audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in documenting defects and communicating with contractors and suppliers.
- Research and resolve special projects related to product and process defects.
- Work closely with Repairs, Returns, Product Engineering, Product Development, Design, Manufacturing, and Inventory teams.
- Participate in product reviews, provide feedback, and approvals as appropriate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and inspection processes is preferred.
