Hospice Inpatient Registered Nurse Job Summary

Resource 1 Homecare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Hospice Inpatient RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and case management for individuals with life-limiting illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments, as outlined in the patient's hospice plan of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including Social Workers, Chaplains, and CNAs, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assess patient progress, record observations, and implement treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise in hospice care.

Requirements:
  • Current Maryland RN license or accepted reciprocal out-of-state nursing licensure.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience in a medical/surgical or critical care setting.
  • Ability to assess patient needs, provide quality care, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Compensation:
$36-$45 per hour, plus shift differential of $4-$6 per hour worked. $10K sign-on bonus.
