Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Pulmonology team at Vancouver Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Room patients and collect patient information
- Prepare patients for examination and assist with procedures
- Support the overall delivery of patient care
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Pay range starts at $21.18/hr. with active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential and goes up based on experience.
Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification from a national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.)
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Current healthcare provider BLS required
Vancouver Clinic offers a competitive Total Rewards Program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, long term disability, health savings account, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, and multiple supplemental benefits. We also offer a 401k retirement plan with employer contributions after your first year of employment.
Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
