About the Role

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care and driving business growth. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, including managing staff, inventory, and finances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote a culture of excellence within the pharmacy team.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our pharmacy services.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of pharmacy staff, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure their success.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Financial Profitability: Analyze financial data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and reduce costs.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent loss and minimize waste, ensuring the integrity of our pharmacy operations.
  • Workflow Management: Streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and optimize workflows to improve productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Must hold an active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List: Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification: Must hold immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Pharmacist in Charge: Must be listed as the pharmacist in charge on the pharmacy state license.
  • PMP Registration: Must submit required information/documents to the state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree: A degree in pharmacy or a related field is preferred.
