Radiology Technologist, Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Gilberts, Illinois.

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a $55,000 estimated annual salary. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring optimal film quality.

• Determine appropriate radiographic techniques and position patients using immobilization and support devices.
• Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography, and PACS equipment to ensure quality examinations.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and demonstrate technical competence.
• Position patients and adjust equipment as necessary, using tact and courtesy at all times.
• Check radiographic quality with quality control designates prior to patient dismissal.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology.
• Prior radiology experience is desirable.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and emergency call-backs.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
