Radiology Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Gilberts, Illinois. As a member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the best possible outcomes.

• Determine the most effective radiographic techniques and position patients using immobilization and support devices to produce high-quality images.
• Position patients and adjust equipment as necessary, demonstrating tact and courtesy at all times.
• Operate a range of radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography, and PACS equipment to ensure accurate and efficient examinations.
• Document pertinent information on performance improvement logs and data sheets to maintain a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

2. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
3. Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with industry advancements.
4. Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental policies.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology.
• Previous radiology experience is preferred, but not required.
• Licensed Radiographic Technologist by the IDNS/IEMA.
• CPR Certification and ARRT Registry eligibility.
