Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Billing Coordinator to join our team at Enable Dental. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of dental claims.

About the Role:

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for verifying commercial dental insurance for private pay patients, communicating with patients and their advocates regarding dental coverage, and reviewing dental claims and patient ledgers for accuracy.

You will also submit and follow up on dental claims, build relationships with insurance carriers to ensure timely payments, and interpret explanation of benefits to resolve errors and denials.

Furthermore, you will determine when claims must be appealed and follow up on the appeal process, work closely with dental and clinical practice managers regarding insurance carrier information, and audit accounts for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify commercial dental insurance for private pay patients
  • Communicate with patients and their advocates regarding dental coverage
  • Review dental claims and patient ledgers for accuracy

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous front desk dental experience, and strong knowledge of dental CDT codes.

Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft office and have intermediate knowledge of dental practice management software, such as Carestack.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
