About the Role

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Center Store Associate to join our team. As a Center Store Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our grocery store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management: Cut, mark, and stock cases as outlined in the Center Store training guide.
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with finding items when asked in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Productivity: Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.
Requirements
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must have effective interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Lift up to 20 lbs. regularly, including overhead lifting, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally. Push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
Preferred Requirements
  • Teamwork: Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
  • Communication: Maintain good communications with the management team and all other associates.
  • Quality Workmanship: Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship in the performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned.
