Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II PRN to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all necessary respiratory care procedures associated with acute or critically ill neonatal & pediatric routine care modalities, and mid-level higher acuity adult care modalities.
  • Work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide appropriate interactions with staff, patients, and families of all ages.
  • Initiate and maintain appropriate therapy, including life support technique and equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an AMA approved program by the National Board of Respiratory Care in Respiratory Therapy is required. AAS or AS is required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required or CRT registry eligible and must obtain registry RRT credential within 12 months from hire date.
  • CPR/BLS and ACLS certification required.
