About this Role:

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and a valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license. They will be responsible for teaching grade level material, content-specific lesson plans, and Personal Development, following DPS standards-based curriculum.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators to resolve student behavioral and academic issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum guidelines and state/local requirements, adapting teaching methods to meet changing needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social development, emotional intelligence, and physical well-being.

What You'll Need:

  • A valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
