Key Responsibilities- Obtain accurate and updated patient information, including name, address, and insurance details.
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service.
- Schedule radiology procedures in an organized and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures and requirements.
- File and maintain medical records.
- Confirm and schedule appointments.
- Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly and courteously.
- Perform referral documentation promptly.
- Perform certain follow-up services for patients in a prompt and courteous manner.
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
- 1+ years of customer service or Healthcare related experience.
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency (multi-task through multiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Experience working with an electronic health record (EPIC).
- Knowledge of Radiology.
- Knowledge of Medical terms.
- 1+ years of experience in a call center.
- Experience working with scheduling programs.
The Radiology Scheduler Call Center will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and adhering to Lean processes.
