Responsibilities:

  • Schedule exams and procedures in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing patient needs and maximizing schedule utilization.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring clear understanding and cooperation.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including demographics, scheduling details, and exam results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in medical scheduling or customer service preferred.
  • One to four years of related experience, with a focus on communication, organization, and time management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, imaging procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
