Decarbonization Subject Matter Expert

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to lead our decarbonization efforts as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. This role will be responsible for providing technical guidance and training to our design resources on energy engineering and decarbonization projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement decarbonization growth strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients on energy and carbon goals, design concepts, and project economics.
  • Assist in marketing efforts to develop demand for decarbonization services.
  • Supervise mechanical discipline managers and ensure successful intra-office operations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate quality management processes and procedures.
  • Recruit and develop technical staff to deliver on project commitments.
  • Provide technical training and development of staff on energy planning, modeling, and life cycle cost analysis.
Requirements:
  • Accomplished mechanical engineer/PE with 20+ years of progressive technical experience in mechanical systems, thermal energy infrastructure, and clean energy technologies.
  • Experience in technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success in meeting contract specifications and achieving high performance and advanced energy design standards.
  • Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
