Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Care Specialist (Phlebotomist) to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional venipuncture services and other clinical support services to our patients. You will work closely with our diverse team of providers and administrative assistants to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide best-in-class venipuncture services for patients of all ages.
  • Perform and assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.
  • Care for patients beyond the lab room by answering messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers and virtual medical teams with clerical duties.
Requirements:
  • An active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA.
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams a plus).
