Front Desk Representative

Life as a Front Desk AgentAs a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Booking guest reservations and coordinating with the reservation center
- Registering guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner, using up-selling techniques to maximize room rates
- Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests
- Handling confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
- Answering and routing calls as appropriate, taking guest messages with accuracy
- Resolving minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer, and informing the supervisor of major problems or complaints
- Responding quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner, and taking appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with:
- A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A good understanding of procedures and practices in the hospitality industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- The ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Good leadership and training abilities
In your first few months, you will learn about the hotel and its amenities, and then begin assisting the front desk team. As you progress, you will take on a key role in providing exceptional guest service and contributing to the overall guest experience.
