About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt and processing of merchandise, ensuring that it is properly tagged, hung, and secured.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, respond to their needs, and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the backroom area, and ensure that all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards are met.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, and ensure that merchandise is properly rotated and replenished.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates, providing progress updates and addressing priorities.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year of retail leadership experience, with a focus on merchandising and operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors, and provide guidance and support to Associates.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, and respond to unexpected situations.
