Job Description

As a Data Analyst/Healthcare Specialist at AHU Technologies Inc, you will play a critical role in supporting the work of the client Program Administration, Executive Steering Committee, and client Stakeholders. Under the aegis of the client Chief Data Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the life cycle of client data, defining and implementing policies and procedures for the day-to-day operational and administrative management of systems and data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and implementing policies and procedures for data management
  • Developing and implementing strategies to assess and develop rules to maintain the quality, integrity, and reliability of data
  • Providing oversight to ensure data issues, needs, and requirements are documented
  • Establishing data-quality metrics and requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-agency teams to ensure official agency records requirements, privacy, security, and other related requirements are met

Preferred skills include:

  • Knowledge of good data management principles, concepts, and practices
  • Knowledge of human services and healthcare programs
  • Ability to work with multiple agency stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities also include:

  • Coordinating IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management
  • Developing technical applications to support users
  • Providing training for system products and procedures
  • Ensuring project life-cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures

Minimum education/certification requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience

Skills matrix includes:

  • 16+ years planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities
  • 16+ years leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures
  • Experience with ETL tools - Design, Develop, Analyze
  • Experience with Curam software - V6 or higher
  • Proven work experience working as a senior/lead data analyst for large data sets and multiple interfaces
  • Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts
  • Experience with Tableau, dashboard design and develop
  • Strong experience in Healthcare Data
  • Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions
  • Working knowledge of writing functional, technical, and performance requirements in software development environment
  • Possess hands-on Systems/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
