Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Utility Driver to join our team. As a CDL Utility Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks and equipment to collect and haul waste and recyclables to disposal sites or recycling plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by emptying trash and recycling containers into trucks and hauling them to disposal sites.
  • Deliver and remove trash and recycling containers as needed, ensuring they are neatly replaced at the curb or designated area.
  • Clean up spills and overflows, and maintain and update route and driver logs.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete logs in a timely manner.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and a valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, and be available for 24-hour emergency calls.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license (if applicable).
