NSOC Lead: Cybersecurity Program Manager

The Leidos organization seeks a highly skilled Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead the Network Security Operations Center (NSOC) team in designing, implementing, and operating security and operations management systems for the Department of Defense (DoD). As NSOC Lead, you will play a pivotal role in helping the DoD Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) digital infrastructure protect and defend its components.
Your key responsibilities will include leading NSOC staff to achieve high customer satisfaction through maintaining top-notch cybersecurity performance, providing artifacts supporting Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes, developing an NSOC Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and managing deployments and stand-up at globally distributed NSOCs.
You will also be responsible for creating configuration management plans, coordinating tool configurations, and managing NSOC changes and releases. Additionally, you will lead the NSOC team in identifying tools or capabilities that enhance performance, deploying and configuring selected tools, updating training, and administering tools.
In this role, you will track and manage the integration of the NSOC into network releases, develop and deliver NSOC training packages, select and provide operational manning support for Global NSOC units, and provide support personnel to meet Continuity of Operations (COOP) when invoked.
You will also provide a variety of functions, including monitoring systems status, escalating and reporting potential incidents, creating and updating incident cases and tickets, performing risk assessments, analyzing security reports, applying antivirus and intrusion detection tools, authoring custom detection content, tuning Security and Information Management (SIEM) events, and providing forensic analysis of digital media devices.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of modern cyber security, networks, cloud architecture, and experience working with distributed organizations. A minimum of two years of team leadership experience is required, along with a demonstrated record of leading and managing an organization.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in TCP/IP, at least one current DoD 8140 certification, and hands-on knowledge of tools such as Splunk Enterprise Security, ServiceNow IT Operations Management, SolarWinds, Security Onion, and ACAS. The ability to gain internal consensus support, operate independently, and conceive new ideas is essential.
A Top Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance. We offer a competitive salary range of $112,450 - $203,275, based on location and qualifications.
