At Leidos, we are seeking an experienced Advanced Network Systems Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Respond to and troubleshoot detected service outages and events using ServiceNow IT Operations Management and NSOC monitoring tools.">
  • Develop and implement solutions to maintain access to and functionality of network hosts, data, voice, and key mission systems.">
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to identify and correct core problems.">
  • Document updates to NSOC Knowledge Management tools, scripts, policies, procedures, or automated responses to continually improve access to, performance of, and functionality of network hosts, data, voice, and key mission systems.">

Requirements

">

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field, and 8-12 years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. The ideal candidate will have:

  • ">
  • A current DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.">
  • Experience troubleshooting RHEL and various platforms, software packages, and associated databases.">
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP ports and protocols.">
  • Network Security Operations Center (NSOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), or Security Operations Center (SOC) experience.">
  • Experience developing and optimizing commercial application performance metrics in an IT Operations Management (ITOM) platform.">
  • At least one current DoD 8140 certification.">
