Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Mt. Hood Community College. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our instructional services department, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to instructional services department, including scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, events, and activities related to program development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and databases.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of grant proposals and reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting access and diversity.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a standard office environment, with occasional travel to off-campus locations.
