AtlasVet is a dynamic and growing veterinary practice seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Medical Care Specialist: Administer medications, assist with treatments, diagnostics, and monitoring, and provide patient care as needed.
  • Anesthesia and Surgery Expert: Prepare, induce, maintain, and monitor anesthesia, as well as clean and maintain anesthesia equipment and surgical instruments.
  • Laboratory and Radiology Specialist: Collect, prepare, and run samples for requested tests, and position patients for radiographs.
  • Client Care and Education Specialist: Provide patient updates, discharge instructions, and client education on at-home care procedures.
  • Clinic Operations and Management: Assist with reception duties, answer phones, book appointments, and ensure a smooth flow of outpatient appointments.
Requirements
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician with the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with a coworker.
  • Ability to work in noisy conditions with sounds from animals and equipment, and be exposed to a variety of pets that may bite or scratch.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate equipment.
