We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Leisure Village Health Care Center. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our senior living community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Sweep and mop floors, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, and arrange furniture to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Clean furniture, equipment, fixtures, and hardware to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to achieve common goals and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or general equivalency is preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English in writing and verbally with different levels of staff, patient families, and outside customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift and move up to 50 lbs, and utilize a computer and phone for extended periods.
