We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Tech to join our team in the Surgical Department. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the sterility of all supplies and instruments during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the circulating nurse and surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment
  • Perform sponge, needle, and instrument count pre-operatively and intra-operatively
  • Assist in keeping physician preference cards accurate and updated
  • Transport all surgical equipment to appropriate cleaning areas
  • Assist in sterile supply with cleaning and reprocessing of instrument sets

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least three (3) years' experience as instrument room tech
  • Experience with all types of sterilizers
  • Current BLS
