Job Title: Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement accounting classifications to ensure accurate financial performance comparisons with operating plans.
  • Oversee and execute all accounting practices, including budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, tax, and audit functions.
  • Manage the accounting team, providing training, performance management, and guidance.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as ad-hoc reports.
  • Process monthly closing and reconciliations of Bank and General Ledger accounts, with reports due by the 5th day.
  • Oversee and approve bi-weekly payroll submissions.
  • Manage Human Resource functions for the company, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Attend Management Meetings and contribute to resolving issues and improving processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate vendors, insurance companies, and leasing companies to ensure optimal relationships.
  • Assist in other Administrative functions as needed.
  • Audit processes and information within department-specific software, including SalesChain and eAutomate, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Essential Physical-Mental Functions & Environmental Conditions:
  • Effective verbal communication with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25lbs occasionally, up to 5lbs frequently.
  • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Close hand-eye and arm-hand coordination for entire shift.
  • Perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist running/torqueing continuously.
  • Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth continuously.
  • Remember multiple tasks/assignments given to self and others over long periods of time.
Job Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or related discipline, or 5 years relevant work experience.

Experience: Minimum 5 years previous administration experience and supervisory experience.

Skills:

  • Strong Computer skills.
  • Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage a team and department.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding Interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work standard office hours of 8:30am - 5pm, with occasional overtime as necessary.
