Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper is a key member of our InnVite Hospitality team, responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate housekeeping and laundry resources, tasks, and requirements to meet daily business demands.
  • Lead by example, creating a positive and energized work environment that fosters productivity and efficiency.
  • Recruit, hire, and train housekeeping staff to ensure proper staffing and effective management of productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee administrative processes, including departmental staffing, training, and budgeting, to ensure proper planning and organization.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel department heads and front desk staff to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Drive effective communication across housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure consistency, cohesiveness, and clear understanding of objectives and priorities.
  • Coordinate guest check-in, arrival, departure, and special needs, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Anticipate and follow through on guests' service needs, building rapport and encouraging feedback throughout their stay.
  • Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies and linens for the housekeeping department, ensuring proper supply levels.
  • Provide training, including safety and standard operating procedures, to all housekeeping personnel as directed by management.
  • Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house, ensuring compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards, and regulations.
  • Issue supplies and equipment as needed and participate in regular inventories to ensure proper supply levels.
  • Maintain and communicate an up-to-date body of knowledge regarding proper use of and maintenance of laundry equipment, chemical usage, and care of linens.
  • Make recommendations and implement necessary changes to meet and exceed company objectives and to enhance service and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to brand and company quality standards by inspecting rooms, including deep cleans.
  • Work with the Chief Engineer to execute projects related to floor care, deep cleaning, and routine maintenance of public spaces, guest rooms, back of house areas, pool, and grounds.
  • Distribute keys and work assignments to staff, addressing guest complaints regarding housekeeping services or equipment.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to move throughout the building, bend, stoop, and reach to assist other staff members.
