The Lead Housekeeper will service guest rooms daily in line with hotel protocols, restock the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, change bed linens, and replenish guest room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety regulations.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
  • This position demands a keen attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be capable of clearly conveying information and ideas.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately assess and choose among various courses of action is essential.
  • Must perform well in high-pressure situations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with company standards, which may vary based on hotel needs.
  • Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag while on duty.
  • Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest accommodations.
  • May assist in inspecting rooms and/or overseeing room attendant activities as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
