The National Network of Teachers of the Year (NNSTOY) is a non-profit organization that brings together finalists and awardees of State Teacher of the Year to drive initiatives that improve policy and practice for all students. Our diverse group of educators represents every subject area and strives to raise the collective voice of teachers everywhere.

The Position of Coordinator of Member Services and Initiatives

This role leads the efforts to recruit, engage, and retain members, developing and implementing initiatives to support NNSTOY's membership. The Coordinator will drive member value, experience, inclusion, and growth, serving as the membership liaison to build a strong membership culture.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the President & CEO and key stakeholders to create a roadmap for sustainable membership growth, establish short- and long-range plans, and develop strategies to stimulate member engagement.
  • Oversee membership data, tracking, and reporting, ensuring accurate records and analyzing trends by region, state, and territory.
  • Coordinate member components, engage in member communication strategies, and develop processes for feedback on NNSTOY membership, programs, and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in membership or constituent management.
  • Demonstrated experience in growing membership and strengthening retention.
  • An understanding of the education industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to high-level customer service and member engagement.
