About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Support Staff Professional to join our team at Greenwich Public Schools. As a member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success and social growth of our students.

Job Description

This full-time position involves providing instructional support to students in small groups and one-to-one settings, under the guidance of certified teachers. You will assist in implementing instructional plans, managing classroom routines, and communicating effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Instructional Plans: Assist in developing and implementing instructional plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Classroom Support: Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to established routines and protocols.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, promoting academic success and social growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess a ParaPro Competency Exam certificate, Associate's Degree, or 60 college credits.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work effectively with students and staff, and a deep understanding of instructional methods and student learning strategies.
Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, the position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
