Primary Care Provider for Homeless Population

Role Summary:
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a nationally recognized public healthcare system seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary health care and street medicine services in the Healthcare for the Homeless program.
This grant-funded role is hybrid based, splitting time between the shelter system and street outreach. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and successfully completed an accredited nurse practitioner program or graduated from a bachelors' or masters' degree program, with an incorporated nurse practitioner program.
Current Massachusetts licensure is required, maintenance of DEA number and Mass. DPH registration to prescribe controlled substances. Knowledge of a second language is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary health care services to homeless individuals
- Develop and implement street medicine services
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
