We are seeking a skilled Communication Technician to join our team at Christus Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a courteous, well-organized, and efficient communications center in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform necessary functions to ensure a high level of customer service and communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in departmental committees, development activities, public relations, quality assurance, and continuing education programs.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of pre-hospital care organizations and practices in Southeast Texas.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of emergency communications and dispatch experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Southeast Texas and pre-hospital care organizations preferred.
- Emergency Medical Technician certification by the Texas Department of Health.
This is a full-time position.
