Registered Nurse

Duke Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our ECT Program at Duke Regional Hospital. As an ECT Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our program.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing ECT treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Collaborate with the ECT team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patients for any adverse reactions or complications.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional status, documenting findings and communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Experience in behavioral health or ECT is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
