Commissary Assistant Manager

We are a Military Contractor and Non-Profit Organization specializing in hiring and training individuals with disabilities.
We operate on multiple Military Bases throughout the nation, offering a range of services to various communities.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a team of employees to ensure smooth operation of contract requirements.
- Train and schedule employees to ensure adequate coverage and optimal performance.
- Ensure all staffing requirements are met by assisting in hiring and training of qualified personnel.
- Gain comprehensive understanding of on-site duties, including truck offloading, material handling, stocking, cleaning, and sanitizing.
- Assist in assimilating and training new employees, ensuring their proficiency in respective roles.
- Support the Project Manager in meeting all contract requirements, both in terms of processes and quality.
- Monitor and manage employee time worked by accurately monitoring data in timekeeping systems.
- Assist in ensuring accurate and timely completion of payroll in Time-Keeper.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to interface with Regional Manager and corporate offices, ensuring accurate and timely completion of administrative duties.
- Work with on-site staff and quality assurance inspector to minimize expired merchandise.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards among on-site employees.
Requirements:
- Strong reading and comprehension skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience in grocery and retail operations preferred.
- Excellent time management skills.
Compensation Package:
- $20.70/Hour for 40 Hours/Week
- $500 Monthly Bonus – Based on if production is exceeded.
