As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive environment that enables our residents to grow and thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans to ensure residents have opportunities to exercise their personal choice in all aspects of their lives, in accordance with any limitations in their treatment plan.
  • Support residents in decision-making and encourage them to take an active role in their care.
  • Document resident progress towards goals and treatment plans, and provide feedback to residents and staff.
  • Transport residents to activities and appointments, ensuring their physical safety and well-being.
  • Perform shift duties, including reading communication logs, consulting with peers, and formulating plans to intervene in challenging situations.
  • Prepare and serve daily meals, and maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Administer medications, document medication reactions, and monitor financial records.
  • Complete all required trainings and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must use Tools of Choice consistently and with fidelity when supporting clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
