Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting the overall success of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Answer incoming calls in a cheerful and marketing-oriented way, determine the purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Message Management: Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward to appropriate personnel.
  • Communication: Answer general questions about the community, provide callers with information, and refer specific questions to appropriate staff.
  • Visitor Management: Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain current lists of residents who are hospitalized, update appointment calendars, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
  • Mail and Package Management: Receive, sort, and route mail, and maintain and route publications.
  • Office Supplies: Order, receive, and maintain office supplies.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect rent checks from residents and family members, and provide needed information to bookkeeping for billing.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required.
  • Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $13.00, as well as a range of benefits, including paid holidays and PTO, community employees may receive annual anniversary rewards, and eligibility for an Annual Scores Reward of $500 (Full Time) or $250 (Part Time) based on community survey results.
