Work Environment: This role is based in a hybrid model.

Compensation: $19.50 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling options available between 8 AM and 8 PM EST, including opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts.

Training: Comprehensive training will be conducted entirely onsite.

Position Summary:

  • Engage in a dynamic contact center setting addressing intricate reimbursement challenges.
  • Support the management of appeals for denied claims.
  • Act as an advocate for specific product coverage with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
  • Gather detailed benefits information to optimize insurance plan advantages.
  • Assist in the prior authorization process for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Leverage internal tools and perform external research to identify alternative funding options.
  • This role may require skills in sales, project oversight, or account management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years in customer service roles.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical or insurance sectors.

Desired Skills:

  • 5 years of experience within the healthcare field.
  • Ability to analyze reimbursement data and generate reports.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications with knowledge of ICD-9, HCPCS, and CPT coding.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
