Qualifications and Experience:

To qualify for this challenging role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

Typically obtained through advanced technical education from an accredited program in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) along with 2 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s degree). In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred but not mandatory.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in GitLab, Ansible Vault, Terraform, Kubernetes with PODMAN, and Palo Alto Prisma.
  • Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and Software Factory dashboards.
  • Capability to implement build pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for software and infrastructure builds.
  • Ability to create, automate, and execute test scripts for coverage testing, ensuring software features function as intended using automated testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, JUnit).
  • Experience in manually generating or automating test data where feasible.
  • Familiarity with software version control systems (Git).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum and iterative development methodologies.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position necessitates the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is mandatory.

Background Check Requirement:

This position requires passing a background check and meeting enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoD IA Workforce Certifications; CompTIA, Sec+, ISC2 CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming skills (Java, Python, C++).
  • Experience in testing, debugging, and performing root cause analysis for issues identified in test harnesses.
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g., Podman) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of RESTful design patterns.
  • Aptitude and interest in learning and applying reverse engineering techniques.
  • Experience with or knowledge of the GMD program and collaboration with the Missile Defense Agency.

Work Environment:

This position is 100% on-site.

Compensation Range:

Please note that the compensation range provided below is a general guideline. Actual pay is based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$70,000 - $125,000
