Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate DOD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within CE, NE, and/or enclave environments.
  • Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of Information Assurance (IA) Controls, including technical, procedural, and documentation requirements as described in DoD and Army requirements and guidelines.
  • Manage a wide range of security issues, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
  • Perform research and analysis at all levels of total system product, including concept design, fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Implement encryption, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies.
  • Provide full assessments of system's security posture.
  • Perform security testing to verify cyber security integrity of the system, designing and recommending mitigations.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the security program.
  • Integrate architectural features into existing infrastructures and design cyber security architectural artifacts.
  • Provide architectural analysis and relate existing system to future needs and trends.
  • Develop security policies and procedures to be applied across multiple system architectures.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or an information technology field.
  • 10 years demonstrated recent relevant experience in the cyber security or information technology sector, with a combination of:
  • 5 years of experience in performing information assurance and security engineering in the information technology industry for systems or networks.
  • 3 years demonstrated recent relevant experience performing information assurance and security engineering in the DoD, including demonstrated recent relevant experience with the RMF process.
  • Must meet DoD minimum certification requirements IAT-III/IAM-II (CISSP or CASP+ CE).
  • Active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
