Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EMT or Paramedic to join our team at a Plasma Donation Center. As a Center Medical Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our donors and staff. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating donor suitability, providing medical care, and promoting a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate donor medical history and perform physical examinations to determine suitability for donation
  • Build strong relationships with donors to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor information with discretion
  • Provide education and counseling to donors on general health and wellness, as well as on unacceptable test results
  • Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
  • Assist in employee training and development
  • Administer employee health programs, including the Hepatitis Vaccine program

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification is also required.
