Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team at Community Health Network. As a Paramedic, you will assist the Registered Nurse and physician with basic patient care and Advanced Cardiac Life Support care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care and assist with Advanced Cardiac Life Support care
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Nurse and physician to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relations skills to provide exceptional patient experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical terminology, aseptic technique, and isolation procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Current Paramedic License to practice as a Paramedic in the State of Indiana required
  • One (1) year of experience working as a Paramedic, EMT, or ED Technician preferred
  • Excellent customer relations skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
